How to Ride and Control Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Time to Ride!

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are really attempting to be quiet inventive this time around with the newest Pokemon game releases. On top of having a non-linear open world for the first time, we get exposed to the Legendary Pokemon very early on. Koraidon and Miraidon are the main title legendaries from their respective game. These lizard-bike-type Pokemon get introduced almost first thing in the games. Obtaining them early on is pretty easy, but some might not be sure how controlling them works. Here’s a quick guide on what to do once you have your legendary Bike Lizard. Here’s how to control Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Control the Legendary Lizards

Controls for Koraidon and Miraidon are fairly simple. After a lot of other tutorials, you’ll finally get your chance to mount your legendary and start your open-world journey.

All you have to do to mount your bike-lizard legendary is press the +Button on your Nintendo Switch. Once you’re on your Legendary you use the joystick to move it around. Pretty easy we know. The important thing to remember is you can also make them jump. Press the B Button to make them jump over obstacles or start to climb on walls and cliffs.

You also press the +Button again to dismount your bike lizard and start walking again. It’s a pretty straightforward set of commands. There doesn’t seem to be any attacks or special moves at the start when you first start to ride your Legendary. However, there just might be some tricks you can teach them along the way as your journey progresses.

You discover Koraidon or Miraidon very early in whichever game you own as part of the main storyline. It’s quite likely that discovering new powers and abilities from your legendary bike lizard will be a main gameplay point as well. This is also likely to be Gamefreak’s answer to finally getting rid of the HM problem fans of Pokemon have had for a very long time.
