In A Plague Tale: Requiem, you may not have the widest selection of weapons to choose from, but that won’t stop you from doing what you have to. Amicia has access to two weapons throughout Requiem: the sling and crossbow, but there are multiple upgrades for each. If you want to ensure you’re utilizing the most firepower possible in A Plague Tale: Requiem, read on! Here’s how to unlock both weapons.
How to Unlock All Weapons in A Plague Tale: Requiem
As stated, there are only two weapons available to players in A Plague Tale: Requiem. To make matters much better, neither are particularly missable. In fact, because the sling is a gift from Amicia’s father, it’s automatically in her possession at the game’s start. Woo-hoo! That’s one down! If you’d like to upgrade the sling, there are three possible upgrades, all of which unlock different perks:
- Softened Cords, which reduces the noise made when using the sling.
- Double Cradle, which increases the number of shots that can be made before having to reload.
- Elongated Cords, which increases overall strength of sling shots.
But, that’s not all! Later in the game — in chapter 5, to be precise — you’ll automatically unlock the crossbow! It’s like magic! Except … not really, since magic is the kinda thing that’d result in you being burned at the stake for in the world of A Plague Tale: Requiem. The crossbow also has three upgrades:
- Flexible Limb, which reduces the time it takes to reload, allowing for quicker shots.
- Bigger Quiver, which — obviously — increases the number of shots you can make with the crossbow.
- Reinforced Bolts, which allows you to loot the remains of your enemies for additional bolts. Is that totally metal, or isn’t it?!
