VALORANT Vin 152 Error Fix
How you fix Vin error 152 in VALORANT depends on whether or not you were actually using cheating software. If you were, there will be no way to get around the error. Riot will have hardware-banned you from VALORANT, with the maximum ban sentence being four months. In this case, the only thing you can do is wait out that ban window. If you weren’t cheating, you can follow this troubleshooting checklist to try and determine the issue:
- Turn off any third-party software you were running and try VALORANT again.
If you’re using VPN, game-boosting software, or any other program that runs in the background while you’re playing VALORANT, close them down and try to re-launch the game. If this does fix Vin 152, then you’ll know that one of those programs was the issue.
- Reset your device.
If you’re not running any background programs, then a simple restart may be all your game needs. This should be your first step any time you troubleshoot an issue with VALORANT, but if you haven’t done this yet – do it now.
- Try your account on another device.
If you’re still getting Vin 152 after trying both of those fixes, then you’ve either been falsely banned, or you have a software issue with VALORANT on your machine. At this point, you should try to log in to your VALORANT account on a second computer. If a second computer also gives you an error, then you know it’s a problem with your account. If it doesn’t, then there’s an issue with your VALORANT install.
In this case, try re-installing VALORANT and Vanguard Anti-Cheat. If you’re still not able to get into VALORANT after that, then you’ve got an unusual problem that will require some more specialist attention.
