How to Sign Up for The Finals Closed Alpha

The Finals is an upcoming free-to-play arena shooter recently announced by a new game studio called Embark Studios. The game will feature explosions, grappling hooks, and all the high-speed gameplay you can handle. During the game’s recent announcement, it was also revealed that players can now sign up to join the closed alpha. In this guide, we’ll show you how.

What is The Finals?

The Finals puts players into the shoes of a contestant on a combat game show. To come out on top, players must use everything in their arsenal to succeed such as katanas or building-destroying explosives. Each map in-game is based on a real-world location and can be drastically altered during gameplay through the aforementioned explosives or by wrecking balls.

Joining The Finals Closed Alpha

To join The Finals Closed Alpha, you’ll want to head to the game’s Steam page. Once there, look for the Request Access button and click on it. This won’t guarantee you access but you’ll have a chance to be selected for the closed alpha. Only users in Europe and North America will be eligible to sign up. The closed alpha will begin September 29 and last through the whole weekend. No start times have been announced as of yet.

What to Expect From The Finals Closed Alpha

According to the developers themselves, The Finals Closed Alpha will be an early build of the game meaning there will likely be plenty of errors and glitches that will need to be ironed out. This will be a good thing for the developers as they will be able to detect and fix these problems as development on The Finals progresses. Also, no gameplay streaming or capture will be allowed during the Closed Alpha.
