There are various tools that the main character, Dave uses in order to catch fish. Some of these tools involve carrying a net or using a harpoon to catch fish in difficult areas. If you’re looking at what items to upgrade first we’re going to have to choose to upgrade the air tank or the harpoon. The air tank is crucial because, well, we’re not fish. We can’t breathe underwater and the more air you have in your tank the longer you can stay underwater. The harpoon is secondary because it’s used to defend yourself against nefarious fish.

How to Upgrade in Dave the Diver

Upgrading your weapons requires you to find coins and weapon enhancement kits. You can upgrade either your gun or your melee weapon after you’ve gained access to these kits. Start looking around the ocean for yellow briefcases and click on them to get the enhancement kits. These are extremely useful to use for fish that require some extra physical altercations. Each time you upgrade an item you’re gaining a new level for your item.
