As you might have heard, Roblox games will premiere with an Open beta in the Meta Quest. Considering that there are more than 65 million players of Roblox experiences, this is big news for the gaming community and Meta Quest fans.
Naturally, every Roblox player would first like to know whether their favorite game will be available on this Meta VR gadget. The answer to the question of which games will be playable on the Meta Quest is still not easy to give, since everything is in the early stages. What Roblox Games Can You Play on the Meta Quest?
Roblox announced recently that their experiences will be coming to Meta Quest (Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro devices only; probably will include newer devices as well) which came out as big news. People following the Roblox community closely know that VR was already available for PC VR with Oculus Rift and other devices before this. Still, the official arrival of one of the biggest gaming platforms to one of the most popular VR headsets will always be major news.
In the announcement, the Roblox company said that their intention will be that all games are playable on Meta Quest in the future, but that for now, some games with default scripts are available for the Open VR Beta by default. As they mention, in the past it was shown that these experiences work well with VR. The end goal for Roblox is that all developers are able to soon publish their experiences for VR, with little or even no additional coding.
Of course, in the next few weeks when the Open Beta testing commences, developers will be able to see how their games behave with VR and get the much-needed user feedback that will help them improve and rebuild things.
Roblox also said that the fans of Meta Quest will be able to play their favorite Roblox experiences with other players on Android, iOS, Xbox, and desktop. This assurance of cross-platform playing makes sure that no player with Meta Quest feels left out.
