Best Hunter Spec Per Activity

Solo Levelling: any Hunter spec excel at solo levelling really, but if you want to make the best out of your class, Beast Mastery is the way to go. The use of pets will enable some great damage output and mitigation. This, in turn, will make handling WoW content such as raids or dungeons much easier than Marksmanship or Survival. Furthermore, its abilities will be able to provide defensive and offensive skills, enabling efficient mob dealing without breaking a sweat. The incredible mobility and single targeting damage output makes the Beast Mastery spec the best for solo levelling.

PVP Arenas: picking the Survival Hunter is the way to go. You see, the very strong single target damage output makes the Hunter a force to be reckoned with. Also, being able to deal attacks with a high AoE thanks to the Survival abilities will make it the best spec in PVP Arenas.

PVP Battlegrounds: once again, a Survival Hunter will make the best choice for this job. Besides the abilities already described, a Survival Hunter will also be able to deal great DoT (damage over time) damage to enemies. Ultimately, the Survival Hunter’s range will make the difference in the real world.

PVE: Beast Mastery. Period. No wonder it is the most beloved Hunter spec of the bunch, its versatility pretty much speaks for itself. Like said before, the single targeting damage and mobility along with its many kill oriented abilities will make it a PVE powerhouse.

Old Content: just like standard solo levelling, any Hunter spec will be able to handle the job at hand, however, Beast Mastery is where a Hunter truly shines when handling solo content. The use of powerful pets will be able to handle old raids and dungeons with ease. Besides that, his abilities will also make all of these tasks much more accessible and simple for you.
