World of Warcraft Dragonflight has brought yet again the WoW fans back to their seats and into the world of MMORPG battles. As always players want to level up their heroes as soon as possible and go on raids with their guilds. However, not everyone can go on every raid and that’s why we’ve come up with this quick overview of what raid levels are and how can you tell if you’re ready for them.
Dragonflight Raid Levels Explained
Raid levels are best explained as raid difficulties and are often appraised based on item levels (iLvl) you will get after you complete a particular raid. For example, in Dragonflight’s first raid, Vault of the Incarnates, there are four raid levels/difficulties you can complete. The higher the difficulty the better the loot.

So when playing Dragonflight you will encounter one of these raid levels:
- Raid Finder – the easiest one and gives out loot levels from 376 to 385
- Normal – this raid level will put a bit of a challenge and will bring loot iLvl 389-398
- Heroic – even more skill is needed for Heroic difficulty but it will offer iLvl of 402 4011
- Mythic – the hardest difficulty will offer drops of levels 415-424
Raid levels can also refer to the checkpoints inside the raid itself since each raid will have you kill quite a few bosses. Vault of the Incarnates has 8 bosses so whenever you defeat a boss you can say that you have advanced one level on that raid.
