Call of Duty just confirmed that tomorrow’s Warzone Battle of Verdansk event will be a PvE experience.
Call of Duty’s highly anticipated Vanguard reveal will be done through an in-game Warzone event, set to take place on Thursday, August 19 at 1:30 PM ET. Codenamed “Battle of Verdansk,” the event will feature a first look into the next installment of the Call of Duty franchise.
Call of Duty Vanguard reveal time
The Call of Duty Vanguard reveal done via Battle of Verdansk takes place on Thursday, August 19, at the following times:
- US, East Coast: 1:30 PM ET
- US, West Coast: 10:30 AM PT
- EU: 7:30 PM CEST
- UK: 6:30 PM BST
Battle of Verdansk will be an in-game Warzone event and likely accessible through the in-game menu at the above times. Raven Software has yet to confirm the exact steps of getting in, but we’ll have more details on that around release time. We do know a few of the announcements coming our way, though.
First, the new game Call of Duty: Vanguard will be announced during the event. Warzone is also likely changing up the Verdansk map, taking us to a World War II setting. The existing weapons and cosmetics will all carry over. Finally, a new anti-cheat is also coming alongside the launch of the new map.
Players can drop in one hour early tomorrow before the event to get Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP for a limited time. See you in-game, soldier!
