Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remake Crossplay

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Earlier this month on Tony Hawk’s birthday, we got some news that Vicarious Visions was working on a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake. The game was first seen through the first Summer Game Fest live steam event. The Epic Game Store exclusive title will feature the original roster, most of the classic soundtrack, but does Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater have crossplay?

Players can look forward to a variety of new enhancements in the classic remake. There will be some new gameplay mechanics, updated graphics, and an interlaced experience between the first and second titles.

At launch, the game will not have crossplay between PC and console players. Cross-platform play might be something coming post-launch. With companies like Activision rolling out crossplay with popular titles like Call of Duty Warzone, it’s something a lot of players request.

Jen Oneal, Vicarious Visions boss, told GameSpot, “when the time comes we will say more.”

While the cross-platform play is a maybe, we know for sure the roster of skaters won’t disappoint. All the legends from the original game will be in the new remake. The pro skaters include Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Elissa Steamer, Kareem Campbell, Andrew Reynolds, Bob Burnquist, Chad Muska, and others.
