Now, hold up. You’re telling that a game that combines the combat of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and the open world of Ghost of Tsushima has just been announced? Shut up and take my money! I haven’t been hyped this much for a game since God of War Ragnarök was announced. And believe me, I have talked about that game for quite a while. With that being said, Chinese developers PaperGames and 17ZHE Studio have released a 7-minute debut trailer for The Perceive. It has fans all over the world fantasizing about playing the game and searching for every last penny lost in the couches for their The Perceiver piggy bank. Anyway, here is everything we know about The Perceiver.
Everything We Know About The Perceiver
With its former name set currently as Project: The Perceiver, the game has shown as a lot of elements that are very well worth to be mentioned. The comparisons between The Perceiver, Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima are well cemented on the combat mechanics and the exploration shown in the gameplay. You can combat several enemies at once while also having a one to one combat with epic dialogue and implications. Even the colors go away to almost equal an Akira Kurosawa film. The amount of locations and explorations shown also makes us believe that it will be an essential part of the game as well, which really makes me want to buy it even more. Furthermore, the game appears to include several dream sequences of sorts or delve into fantasy. This could be translate into a unique experience if used successfully.
Regarding the details of the release, current there isn’t an approximate date for us to enjoy the game. We can confirm, however, that the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with it being a possible Sony exclusive. Now, I say possible because Microsoft has recently shown an interest in JRPGs (not that the game is one, but you can see the connection), so we could be seeing The Perceiving on Xbox, but nothing is certain as of now.

We have no other option but to wait patiently for any more news. I have a hunch that we will see some news, including a release date, very soon. So be alert and wait for more The Perceiver announcements.
Project: The Perceiver will be available soon on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
