As the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise has become more well-known around the world, more famous folks have professed themselves as fans. The series has always had the love of Japanese celebs, but the newer games even have western fans, several of which were contacted for a very special cameo in the remake of Like a Dragon Ishin.
Like a Dragon Ishin Elite Generals Trooper Card Bundle Features Several Celebrity Cameos
At launch, Like a Dragon Ishin will come with a free piece of downloadable DLC: the Elite Generals Trooper Card bundle. When redeemed, this bundle will give you access to five special Trooper Cards, each with its own unique and powerful abilities.

What makes these particular Trooper Cards cool is that all of them are based on famous folks from a variety of fields. During development, Sega approached each of these individuals, each one a professed Yakuza fan in their own right, and offered them the opportunity to have their image and a quote of their choice in the game.
Cameo Trooper Cards
The Elite Generals Trooper Card bundle comes with the following special Trooper Cards:
- Wrestler Kenny Omega – Essence of One-Winged Angel
- Cosplayer Vampy Bitme – Essence of Embrace
- Actor Rahul Kohli – Essence of Firestorm
- Composer Alex Moukala – Essence of the Crescendo
- Streamer Cohh Carnage – Essence of Warfare
- VTuber Nyatasha Nyanners – Essence of Conquering
Each of these Trooper Cards can be equipped on Ryoma’s various fighting styles and deployed at will. Their powerful attacks can make short work of your foes, and then can also be leveled up like the other members of the Shinsengumi. Even if you don’t know who these folks are (though odds are you know at least one of them), they’re abilities will undoubtedly prove beneficial.
To reiterate, the Elite Generals Trooper Card bundle will be available at launch with Like a Dragon Ishin, and will be free of charge.
