As more and more games come out of the woodworks in 2023, gamers are inundated with incredible experiences. It comes as a double edge sword however, as each new game requires players to spend more money in order to play them. This can be a problem for people who may not be able to buy every game when it launches. Services such as Xbox’s Gamepass has allowed many to pay a once-a-month fee, while having a plethora of games to choose from. Part of what can make this offer so appealing, is the day one releases of certain games. Allowing Gamepass owners to be able to experience new releases same-day with others. So let’s take a gander at the list answer the question: is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on Gamepass?
Is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on Gamepass?
The developers of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Team Reptile, are an independent game studio. This means that even though games like Starfield are coming to Gamepass day one, the reasoning behind it might not be as simple as gamers think. Deals such as this one can be easier to negotiate seeing as how Microsoft owns Bethesda. Digressing a bit, Team Reptile has already announced that Jet Set Radio spiritual successor will be launching on PlayStation and Xbox a little later than its PC and Switch counterparts. With this in mind, there has been no confirmation of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk launching day one on Gamepass.

The game could certainly end up coming to Gamepass in the near future, but as of now, no plans have been announced. Due to the game laying a heavy focus on music, many have tried to draw similarities to Hi-Fi Rush, another smaller game that dazzled and amazed gamers in the early months of 2023. And since that game is on Gamepass, many could try and assume that this game will also be on the platform. This is sadly not the case, and if you want to give Bomb Rush Cyberfunk a try, you’ll need to shell out the full price of the game. But if you’re familiar with the genre and enjoy them, picking this game up at full price is a no-brainer.
