How To Use CAS Full Edit Cheat in The Sims 4

Go God Mode with CAS

The Sims 4 is now free to play on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. This change became official on October 18th, 2022 with its base game available for all to play. Whilst you may create any character your desire, the variation in choices is limited. If you are looking to create the most realistic Sim possible and to truly see yourself in the world of The Sims, then CAS Full Edit Mode might just be the thing for you.

What is CAS Full Edit Mode?

CAS Full Edit Mode is a cheat that can be used in-game on all platforms. Where the base editing provided by Sims 4 lacks in its finish, this cheat code allows free range in editing your Sim and the world around them. The Sim that you make and play as may require some changes in their walking style, facial structure, personality traits, body type and age. CAS Full Edit Mode allows you to make these changes to keep your character new and fresh.

How to Enable the CAS Full Edit Cheat

PC

  • Press CTRL + Shift + C at the same time to bring up the dialogue box to enter your codes.
  • Input the command ‘testingcheats true’ or ‘testingcheats on’ to enable the usage of cheats.
  • After this type in the command ‘cas.fulleditmode‘ and press Enter.
  • Close the dialogue box using the same input from below- CTRL + Shift + C
  • Hold Shift and click on the Sim you wish to edit.
  • Select Modify in CAS.

PlayStation 4/5

  • Press L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 at the same time to bring up the dialogue box, this is to enter the Cheat Code.
  • Press ‘X’ to type in the dialogue box and type ‘testingcheats true’ or ‘testingcheats on’ to enable the usage of cheats.
  • After you have enabled cheats, on the same dialogue box type in ‘cas.fulleditmode‘ and enter this command by pressing ‘X’ again.
  • Close the dialogue box by pressing L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 all together again.
  • Hover over the Sim you wish to edit and press O + X simultaneously and select Modify in CAS.

Xbox

  • Press LB + RB + LT + RT at the same time to bring up the dialogue box to enter the Cheat Code.
  • Press ‘A’ to type in the dialogue box and type ‘testingcheats true’ or ‘testingcheats on’ to enable the usage of cheats.
  • After you have enabled cheats, on the same dialogue box type in ‘cas.fulleditmode‘ and enter this command by pressing ‘A’ again.
  • Close the dialogue box by pressing LB + RB + LT + RT simultaneously.
  • Hover over the Sim you wish to edit and press A + B simultaneously and select Modify in CAS.

To turn off Full Edit Mode simply open up the dialogue box again using the correct buttons mentioned above (PC- CTRL + Shift + C, PS4/5- L1 + R1 + L2 + R2, Xbox- LB + RB + LT + RT) and type in ‘cas.fulleditmode off‘ and enter this command (PC- Enter, PS4/5- X, Xbox- A).

After enabling Full Edit Mode, you will have the ability to teleport your Sim anywhere in-game, customize any object that you can see on the screen and modify your Sim again as if you had just started a new game.
