Free for a limited time only.

In 2019, Ubisoft released Anno 1800, the 7th game in the Anno series. The game is a city builder similar to sim city which takes place during the Industrial Revolution. Players will build their cities using various methods while having to deal with the effects of industrialization on their city’s population. On March 16th, the game’s console edition will be released for the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. To celebrate the console edition’s release, Ubisoft will be making the game available for free. In this guide, we’ll be sharing details about this free trial for Anno 1800.

How to Play Anno 1800 for Free

You’ll be able to play Anno 1800 for a limited time only sometime from March 16th to March 23rd on PC as well as consoles. The exact length will be revealed the closer it gets to March 16th. Players on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have the chance to download the game’s standard edition and have full access to it for a week. Any progress made in the game during this free trial period will carry over if the game is purchased. The free trial won’t be available on Steam.

The standard version of the console edition comes with the base game along with “the biggest game updates,” according to Ubisoft. They haven’t specified which updates are included. The deluxe edition will include these things in addition to cosmetic packs, a digital artbook and soundtrack.
