How to Get Sand Hawk in Borderlands 3

To get your hands on the Sand Hawk in Borderlands 3, you will need to be playing on Mayhem 6 or higher. The enemy you have to farm for this weapon is Katagawa Jr.

First, head over to Atlas HQ on Promethea and make your way to the end of the map. You will come to a save point on your way over there. Be sure to use that to make your run to the boss much shorter.

Katagawa Jr. Location

There are some things you can do to make this fight easier. Tou should try equipping a weapon that does high single target damage. You can definitely one shot Katagawa Jr. with the right weapon, but the fight can also be annoying if you have trouble killing him.

You will probably have to kill Katagawa Jr. dozens of times before you can get the Sand Hawk to drop. Each run is quick, though, so it shouldn’t be too time-consuming, but it depends a lot on your luck. You might also find some other good loot at the same time.

After you finally find your Sand Hawk, you’ll notice when you fire the weapon the bullets spread into the shape of a Hawk.
