Someone told me once that there’s no such thing as a free wish, and that the best wishes either cost money or have extremely stringent requirements. I say you can’t put a price on the magic of a wish, especially when said wish yields rare gacha rolls. Apparently, Genshin Impact agrees with me, because there’s a way to get some free wishes. How To Get Free Wishes In Genshin Impact 3.5
As of Genshin Impact’s version 3.5 update, a new avenue of rewards has been added to the game. Let me pose a question: have you ever felt that the rewards for completing the important Archon quests have been too minuscule? Well, good news, now you can get more rewards for finishing them, including those tantalizing free wishes.

Thanks to the new system, you can claim rewards of wishes, EXP books, and other handy odds and ends by completing Archon quests. Now, I’m willing to bet that the Genshin faithful out there have already cleared the lion’s share of available Archon quests. If you’ve been diligent, then good news, you’re about to be rolling in wishes.
Redeeming Archon Quest Rewards
All you need to do to redeem your new backlog of Archon Quest rewards is click on the little book symbol on the main screen to open your Adventure Guide, then switch to the Guide tab on the left. At the top of this page, you’ll see a new reward collection prompt for the game’s first Archon Quest, “The Outlander who Caught the Wind.” Claim it to receive your wishes and other goodies, and another prompt for the next Archon Quest will pop up. Claim that, and another pops up, and so on.
If you’ve already cleared every Archon Quest in the game that’s currently available, you’re looking at around 23 free wishes in total. In the event you haven’t cleared all the Archon Quests yet, that’s okay. Whenever you do clear an Archon Quest, just return to the Guide page in your Adventure Guide, and you can claim the rewards then. It’s a brand new system, it’s just built to retroactively reward those who already ground out the relevant quests.
If you’ve been playing Genshin day and night for the last few years, you’ve more than earned some free wishes for your hard work. Call up your friends and have them watch while you roll those suckers!
