How To Craft Matrices In Tower of Fantasy Artificial Island

Matrices are a great way to give your weapons an extra boost and added bonus; however, they aren’t always easy to come by. Not to mention sometimes you’ll get the exact same Matrix, so you’ll be stuck with duplicates. Fear not; there is hope on the planet of Aida, affectionately called the Artificial Island. On this Island, you can find a slew of resources at your disposal; why? So you can craft Matrices in Tower of Fantasy; and this guide will give you all the details.

How To Craft Matrices in Tower of Fantasy

There are many areas in Tower of Fantasy that humans have occupied, and the Artificial Island is one of them. The Artificial Island is a treasure trove of resources for you to start crafting your Matrices. And with these resources, you can craft Matrices in Tower of Fantasy. Before using the Workshop on the Island, you must reach Wanderer Level 50.

To start crafting SR and SSR Matrices, you will first need to upgrade your houses to Level 5 or higher. There are six different houses on the Artificial Island, each making one specific material you will use to craft Matrices.

• Development Center: You will first need to upgrade this house before you can begin crafting.
• Machine Pod: Metal Materials (King and Huma Matrices)
• Kitty House: Supply Materials (Meryl and Crow Matrices)
• Pawpaw House: Energy Materials (Samir and Tsubasa Matrices)
• Pumpkin House: Fiber Materials (Shiro Matrices)
• Turtle House: Renovation Materials (Cocoritter and Zero Matrices)

Depending on which Matrices you want to craft, you should first focus on upgrading and leveling up that house. When you are ready to begin crafting Matrices, you won’t always get an SSR Matrix set; the process will be RNG, so your best bet is to level up your Development Center and Houses to Level 9 for a higher chance of crafting an SSR Matrix set. As you upgrade your houses, they will passively generate materials you can claim; however, they do require a lot of resources to craft your Matrices.

How to use Matrices

To use Matrices, you must go into your Weapons Tab and choose the preferred weapon you would like to equip with a Matrix. Then go into the Warehouse, which will showcase all your weapons; from here, click on Matrices at the bottom right of your screen, and you will see all the Matrices you can use on that weapon.

Each weapon will have four slots: Mind, Memory, Belief, and Emotion. These slots provide different passive effects depending on where you place them. You can get Matrix sets in either two, three, or four-piece sets; this depends on which Matrix rarity you have.

Normal (Green), Rare (Blue), and SR (Purple) will give you three-piece sets, and SSR (Gold) will give you two-piece and four-piece sets. In addition, you can also ascend your Matrix pieces; SSR and SR pieces can be ascended from 1 Star to 3 Stars, while Normal and Rare Matrices will not offer you any more additional buffs.
