How Many Different Digimon Will You Encounter in Digimon World: Next Order?

The Official Nintendo website states that the game will have over 200 collectible Digimon, and some other sources specify that that number will be 232. However, the game will feature a lot of enemy Digimon that you will have to fight through the storyline, so that means a significant number of non-recruitable ones as well.

Moreover, when noting that there will be over 200 Digimon, the developers probably counted each phase of a Digimon’s evolution. For example, Koromon can evolve in the following way:

  • Koromon
  • Agumon
  • Greymon
  • Metal Greymon
  • War Greymon

There are five Digimon in this evolution line, so most likely these were all counted in when the final number was announced for the game. Still, there will be plenty of Digimon to choose from and make your adventure unique and exciting.
