Diablo III released new 2.7.5 patch notes and is ready to release its season 28. The patch notes seem amazing as they are bringing in some pretty major changes and updates that Diablo III hasn’t seen in a while. Class skills will be changed, new Seals and Legendary Potion powers introduced, and a lot more.
But, what will these changes mean for the everyday gaming experience? We’ve taken a look at what one of the most popular Diablo III YouTubers, Rhykker, had to say.
How Does Rhykker Feel About the 2.7.5 Diablo III Patch?
First and foremost Rhykker said that he thinks this is going to be “the most exciting Diablo III season ever” which you must admit is not a small thing. It seems that even though Diablo IV is just 6 months away, Blizzard wanted to give this game extra fireworks and get players excited for the new release.
Rhykker has a very positive and optimistic attitude toward this patch and of course, we will all know more once it’s tested and the official patch comes out. Nevertheless, he went through all of the changes in the 2.7.5 patch that will bring season 28 online, and we will delve into his most interesting insights.

Short PTR and Unexpected Changes
One of the first things Rhykker mentioned is that this patch is getting only a 7-day PTR test which is wild and incomparable to previous PTRs. I can guess that developers wanted to not only attract attention with this patch but also surprise the current and retired player base of Diablo III.
Another thing that got into the eye of this YouTuber is that they announced updates to Class skills which is something Blizzard hasn’t done in a while. According to him, item updates were much more common and if certain skills weren’t strong enough to be used in the meta, the developers would tweak items that would allow those spells to work and solve the issue that way.
New Season Theme Buffs
Next, he analyzed the new season theme buffs that come through the Altar of Rites. Players will now be able to acquire things called Seal Powers and Legendary Potion Powers. This Altar will allow players to sacrifice items and materials in order to unlock different nodes that offer stronger and stronger buffs.
One of the buffs that caught Rhykker’s attention the most was the double kill streak timer duration and double reward bonus buff. He predicts that this will add to the massacre bonuses and that it will be mainly used for farming Paragon levels.
Another buff that caught his eye was the +25% movement speed that, if it allows you to go beyond your cap, will be one of the most exciting assets available.
When it comes to new features he reflected on the introduction of the Primordial Ashes feature that allows you to salvage a Primal item for 55 Primordial Ashes. However, it gets exciting when you add to that that now you can also craft your Primordial items with a recipe that costs 100 Primordial Ashes and any non-crafted Legendary. As Rhykker explains, there are many Primordial items that are found and are basically useless to players so this will allow many of them to run full Primal items during season 28.
Class skills and Items Update
Rhykker is excited that there will be a massive buff for the Monk class through its class skills and he believes Monk will be able to even jump to the S tier. He emphasizes that the chances in the patch will affect the Generator Monk the most and let him dash out much more damage than before.
When talking about item changes one of the biggest changes is the big rework of the Natalya’s Vengeance set for Demon Hunter that, he believes, will put the Demon Hunter Trap build back in play.
He also believes that Multishot Demon Hunter will jump two tiers (from B tier to S tier) due to a really huge damage update of the Unhallowed Essence set that allows Multishot to now deal 1700% damage per point of Discipline of Demon Hunter, compared to the previous 350% damage.
Lastly, he adds that the Masquerade of the Burning Carnival set will probably kick up the Necromancer a couple of tiers up.
