When Does Gran Turismo 7 Release?

Polyphony Digital announced that Gran Turismo 7 launches on March 4, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Gran Turismo 7 Details

The last time fans got to experience a full Gran Turismo video game was with Gran Turismo 6, which launched for the PlayStation 3 back in 2013. Even though Gran Turismo Sport was released for PlayStation 4 in 2017, it focused primarily on the online multiplayer mode. 

So, being that this will be the series’ first introduction to the brand-new PS5, as well as the first full entry for the PS4, fans are eager to find out what’s in store. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Gran Turismo has already made plans to introduce a variety of exciting features, as well as over 400 purchasable cars with their latest installment. 

While the PS4 version will surely draw some massive interest, the PS5 version is what really has the people talking. The PlayStation 5 version of Gran Turismo 7 is going to include some truly incredible features, including ray-tracing effects, 3D spatial audio support, and rapid-quick loading times. Moreover, there is also expected to be a unique ‘Performance Mode,’ which will enable the game to run at 60 FPS at the cost of reduced visual effects. There are also over 90 track routes to race on from across the globe and the ability to upgrade to 4K resolution. 

Gran Turismo 7 was originally believed to be exclusive to the PS5, but following a last-minute adjustment by Sony, the racing simulator was announced to also be coming to the PS4. So, regardless of whether you have the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, Gran Turismo 7 is sure to be a hit and should offer a variety of game modes suitable for all levels of experience.
