How to play on the Freaky Flights map in Fortnite

The Summer Challenges are in full effect, with stage three now officially available in Fortnite. Completing these challenges is a great way to earn some free in-game summer-themed items for your characters. As is the tradition, they will require you to play on a few different creative maps. This week, players will need to hop into Freaky Flights and do some flying. Here’s how to play on the Freaky Flights map in Fortnite.

Unfortunately, there are a few maps with the same name, so to avoid confusion, we put together this guide to help make sure you’re in the correct one. So, follow the steps below if you’d like to complete the Cosmic Summer Stage 3 Challenges quickly.

How to play on the Freaky Flights map in Fortnite

To play on the Freaky Flights map in Fortnite, start in the lobby and switch the game mode to creative. Press play and then select the discover option. Select the first tab to enter an Island Code. The Freaky Flights map code is 1234-7609-6108. Make sure you join via the proper island code. Otherwise, you might end up in a different Freaky Flights map and not be able to complete the challenges!

When you spawn into the map, you’ll start in a room with many vending machines. You’ll need to spend some coins to purchase 50 items from these vending machines. You’ll find the coins in the sky while you’re flying the X-4 Stormwing.

Freaky Flights Cosmic Summer Challenges

Here is a list of the Freaky Flights Cosmic Summer Challenges:

• Travel 5,000 meters in X-4 Stormwings in Freaky Flights
• Eliminate 25 players while in an X-4 Stormwing in Freaky Flights
• Spend coins to buy 50 items at the vending machine in Freaky Flights

For the quests, simply hop into a Stormwing in Freaky Flights and fly 5,000 meters. You can press the spacebar to boost and get it done quicker. Make sure to collect any coins your find, and eliminate any players you see around. Spend the coins on the vending machines in the spawn room. We recommend buying a bunch of ammo since it only costs 5 coins per batch.

How to fly the X-4 Stormwings in Freaky Flights

To fly the X-4 Stormwings in Freaky Flights, simply get into one by pressing your interact key, and then hit W once to start the engine. Control where the plane goes with your mouse, and perform maneuvers like boosts by hitting the spacebar or break by hitting the left shift key.
