Garden of Eyes has introduced dozens of new weapons and armor, new mounts, bosses as well as movesets. The mod is not free, however, and in order to play it you will need to pay a small fee to the Garden of Eyes developers.

What Did Garden of Eyes Change in Elden Ring?

There’s a ton of new stuff introduced with the Garden of Eyes mod and even though it’s fan-made it definitely feels like an original DLC. Keep in mind that to access it, you will need to subscribe to a $5-a-month Patreon membership at Garden of Eyes developers.

New weapons in Garden of Eyes

When it comes to the 20+ new weapons, you will see some new ones as well as some old ones reforged, for example, a complete Axe of Godfrey instead of the broken one. New moves and animations are also added for weapons so the same Axe of Godfrey can deal massive AoE damage with some earth-rupturing effects. New weapons are based on things already available in the game so you will gain access to the claws of Serosh and unlock some pretty unique fighting styles. Some other weapons added include:

  • Abundance Twinblade with golden animations – weapon found in game files and remade from scratch
  • Wings of Astel – new “winged” polearm weapon
  • Dragon Greatclaw fully overhauled

New armor in Garden of Eyes

In Garden of Eyes, you will find some new sets as well as some familiar ones. Namely, the developers went through a lot of trouble to refurbish and restore armor sets from Dark Souls 2 or Demon Souls. They have redone the physics on these sets to make them look even more realistic.

Brand-new talismans are also available with Godfrey Icon especially interesting with its animation of a lion sitting on your back.

Other Novelties in Garden of Eyes

The Garden of Eyes mod seems limitless with a lot more mounts, bosses and new combos to be explored as well. Some previously unmountable creatures can now be mounted, with the addition of a new and custom-made undead horse called the Forsaken Horse.

If you got tired of all the old bosses in the original Elden Ring game, you will have fun with new challenging bosses from this DLC pack. And the best thing is, this isn’t everything! Developers noted that there are many new things coming in so if you are a really big fan of Elden Ring, this mod will surely be right down your alley.
