Patronus has been probably among the most attention-grabbing spells from the whole Harry Potter franchise. Not only does it fight off evil Dementors, but it is displayed through a chosen animal protector. Players have been able to choose one of many Patronuses in their Harry Potter Fan Club, but now many of them are wondering if the same will be possible in Hogwarts Legacy.
In this article, we will delve into the topic of Patronus and what we can expect from Hogwarts Legacy.

Will We Be Able to Pick Patronus in Hogwarts Legacy?
Although nothing has been confirmed when it comes to the availability of Patronuses in Hogwarts Legacy, we do have some information we can work with. The game trailers and some gameplay cutscenes have shown clear indicators that Patronus spell will be in the game, but choosing your own is questionable.
The first thing that made us believe we will see Patronus are the Dementors game’s trailer. As we all know the only way to fight off these creatures is with an Expecto Patronum spell that summons your Patronus. The second thing that made us think about these magical animals appearing in Hogwarts Legacy is the scene from one of the marketing videos where you can clearly see a professor summoning his Patronus.
Now both of these reasons aren’t proof, but we believe they are strong indicators that Patronuses will be in the game. But, it isn’t likely that you would be able to choose from a highly versatile pool of animals.
Keep in mind, however that you won’t be able to import your Patronus from your Harry Potter Fan Club. The Fan Club has dozens and dozens of these so it would be a real feat for developers to implement all of these in the game as well. However, the Hogwarts Legacy is promising to be a rich and versatile game enough that we can forgive them if there is only a limited number of Patronuses to choose from.
