Best Loud Build in Payday 3

A heist powerhouse.

Heists have many different plans and ways that things can go right or terribly, terribly wrong. Depending on how you want to play can massively determine the kind of outcome you get. Whether you are all about stealth from spending years of practice on Bethesda games, Dishonored, or Thief, or you prefer that Call of Duty aggression that most of us controller players have in us, the loud method is one that many will use when conducting their heists. Because stealth is not always the option, the Loud Builds in Payday 3 offers a more offensive style of play, focusing on taking out the police with little-to-no difficulty.

But whether you are a veteran at Payday or are just getting into becoming one after binging Money Heist on Netflix, the fact of the matter is that you will need the best of the best when it comes to going loud in Payday 3. For this reason, this is Vincent’s guide on the best Loud Build to use in Payday 3.

What Loud Build Should You Use in Payday 3?

The most powerful Loud Builds in Payday 3 are completed by having the full range of 21 Skills to choose from. This, however, requires you to hit Level 100. If you are looking for the best Loud Build at the beginning of the game, we cannot recommend this as a Build is what you aim to grind for to have the best of the best in Payday.

However, our guide outlines the best Skills to use for your Loud Build, which can be achieved simply by allotting 10-12 Skills. When it comes to what to run for the best Loud Build, we recommend VF-7S (Primary Weapon), J&M Castigo 44 (Secondary Weapon), with Heavy Ballistic Lining, Smoke Grenades, and Infrasonic Mines.

Some are interchangeable with one another, such as swapping out the Castigo for the Stryk 7 Pistol for hybrid stealth plays, which reward you with more XP when done correctly (i.e., using stealth at the beginning of a heist).

Next, you can opt for Flashbangs instead of Smoke Grenades. However, we recommend Smoke to aid you in completing tasks during the heist or escaping in a small timeframe. As completing Payday 3 on Overkill difficulty is easier than Payday 2, you may find the Smoke Grenades are more appropriate to use than Flashbangs as this Build is purposely made to be tanky.

Finally, you can change out the Infrasonic Mines for Motion Sensors if you want to be able to see when Cloakers are in the nearby vicinity as you are completing objectives.

How to Use Loud Builds in Payday 3?

Loud Builds are perfect for those looking to annihilate officers on the premises. We have outlined above the best Loud Build depending on EDGE and GRIT buffs, you can activate mid-match. When using the GRIT Build, you always want to hold the frontline. This Build provides the high damage output from the VF-7S, which can be used at hip-fire throughout the match. To combat its high recoil pattern and kick, the skills listed above for this build will help negate its effects so that it is easy to use and provides consistent shots throughout its use.

For the EDGE Build, you can begin the heist, aiming in and getting a clean headshot. From here, switch to hip-fire like the GRIT Build and push forward, taking out whoever is ahead of you. When you need EDGE buffs, use ADS (aim down sights) to boost your EDGE. This Loud Build focuses on picking off enemies whilst having the easy ability to replenish ammo immediately after gaining a kill.

In contrast, the GRIT Build focuses more on stocking up and replenishing armor instead of ammo. Because of this core difference in the Builds, you should decide which you deem more important than the other, as both offer a Build that resembles an FPS tank, capable of dishing out more damage than it absorbs.

For both Builds, we recommend the Castigo Pistol, which should be used in tight and claustrophobic situations in which the VF-7S may not be appropriate. Its power is capable of one-shotting opposition, but you may find trouble when taking on enemies with riot shields. If you are finding trouble in these situations, a Flashbang may be better used here than the Smoke Grenade. Adapt to your surroundings and take note of where you find difficulty so that you can make the appropriate changes to your Loadout/ Skill Tree if needed.
