The beta is underway from November 6 through November 9 and includes access to Last Worm Standing, Last Squad Standing, and Deathmatch. One feature map, called Transforming Towers, transforms into a gigantic robotic worm as the match progresses.

Worms Rumble features both new and classic weapons, including the Bazooka, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Baseball Bat, Rocket Shield, Plasma Blaster, Sheep Launcher, Hand Cannon, Sentry Launcher, Hammerhead, and more. Deathmatch and Battle Royale gameplay is not the usual turn-based system from previous Worms titles, allowing for more action-packed real-time combat.

Studio head Chris Coates says, “We’re extremely excited to throw open the doors and give players a glimpse into Worms Rumble ahead of its release next month. Worms is a huge franchise that means a lot to us, and what better way to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary than with a title that revitalizes the formula with real-time combat while retaining plenty of that classic charm we’ve come to love over the years. Players will even get their hands on some iconic returning weaponry during their time in the beta!”

The game is online and cross-platform between all systems. Participate in seasonal and community events, along with daily challenges for additional XP and rewards. By earning XP and in-game currency, players can unlock new weapon skins, outfits, and other accessories and cosmetics.
