Battle.net users are seeing two errors:

  • “We are aware of an issue that is affecting our authentication servers, which may result in slow or failed login attempts. We are currently investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.”
  • “We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack, which may result in high latency and disconnections for some players. We are actively working to mitigate this issue.”

First, launch World of Warcraft Classic directly and manually type in your login information. You will be put into a Server Login Queue and allowed to login and bypass the initial Battle.net queue.

You may be put into a server queue depending on the population of your server. That’s all you need to do and you should be able to login with no issues. Blizzard is working on resolving the issue at the moment, so if you cannot get in even with this method please be patient.
