With all of the acclaim the games get, it’s easy to forget sometimes that The Witcher is an entire multimedia franchise, spanning games, movies, TV, anime, and of course, the original books upon which it was all based. Not to mention, of course, the oodles of merchandise it all sells because, as a certain tiny space wizard once said, merchandising is where the real money from the franchise is made. If you consider yourself a bona fide Witcher fanatic, you’ll definitely want to tune in for WitcherCon. But what exactly is WitcherCon, and how does one watch it online?
What is WitcherCon?
WitcherCon is a virtual event being run jointly by its two majority stakeholders: CD Projekt Red, creator of the Witcher game series, and Netflix, runner of the Witcher streaming series starring Henry Cavil. While it’s already been clarified that the event will not feature the reveal of a new Witcher game (just in case you were getting your hopes up), it will feature a variety of presentations focused on the creation of the franchise’s various iterations, deep dives into the setting’s concepts and lore, and interactive panels featuring the creators of the games and series. There’ll even be some new reveals about the next season of the Netflix series, as well as some other surprises.
How to Watch WitcherCon Online
WitcherCon will be live streaming on both YouTube and Twitch on July 9th, 2021. The stream will air in the following time zones:

If you can’t catch the show on time, never fear; they’ll be running the whole thing again eight hours from the original air time, and it’ll also be archived on the channels if you want to go back to it again later. A full schedule of the events to be included in WitcherCon will be released as the event gets closer.
