Riot Games finally released some news about their upcoming FPS game Valorant. The 5v5 tactical FPS is a unique combination of CS:GO and Overwatch, where two teams go against each other in a best of 24. Valorant will use 128-tick servers for optimal performance.

When is Valorant Open Beta?

If you are a hardcore FPS fan, there’s no doubt you will be looking to get into the Valorant open beta as soon as possible. The only information we have so far as to when that might be is from a Twitter use Slasher.

Later this month, Riot Games is having a promotional video shoot for their upcoming shooter. This will feature streamers and top-tier professional players and will happen from March 10th to 12th.

Some inside sources claim that Riot will be releasing some information pertaining to open beta dates around March 3rd, which is right around the corner. As soon as we have information about the date and opt-in process we will update this post to let you know.

Update: Riot Games confirmed rumors of a Valorant beta starting this week (March 2nd, 2020) are 100% FALSE. As of right now, there is no publicly confirmed date for the beta.
