At Summer Games Fest on Thursday, host Geoff Keighley presented the world premiere of Aliens: Dark Descent. In this enthralling, single-player experience set within the world of the iconic horror franchise, players will command a squad of marines against the titular creatures known as Xenomorphs.

“We are honored to partner with 20th Century Studio and Disney to work on a new project from this emblematic franchise, and to team up with our excellent partners at Tindalos Interactive,” said John Bert, Managing Director at Focus Entertainment, who will be publishing the game. “Their expertise, talent and passion for the license will make Aliens: Dark Descent an iconic new chapter in the Alien series.”

But, when can players get their hands on this new entry in the beloved horror series?

When Does Aliens: Dark Descent Release?

It isn’t clear when specifically Aliens: Dark Descent will release. As of writing, it will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it launches sometime in 2023.
