Warcraft Arclight Rumble is a free-to-play strategy for mobile devices set in the Warcraft universe. The gameplay involves players controlling and collecting mini-figures to use in battle against other players.

What to Know About Warcraft Arclight Rumble

In addition to PVP, there will also be co-op as well as a single-player campaign. Characters playable in the game include Maiev Shadowsong, Grommash Hellscream, Charlga Razorflank, and Baron Rivendare.

The game’s official website mentions that there are over 65 minis to collect and use in combat. Each figure belongs to one of the 5 in-game factions: Alliance, Horde, Beast, Blackrock, and Undead. Those looking to play the game before its now unannounced release date can head over to the Arclight Rumble website or Battle.net to pre-register.

Blizzard’s Push For Mobile Games

Many gamers have known about the existence of Warcraft Arclight Rumble due to a rumor that began circulating in February. Along with this rumor, there was another rumor about a Pokemon GO-style game that originated in 2018. Last week, journalist Jez Corden said that he believed “The Pokemon Go-like Warcraft game was actually canceled a while ago.” Journalist Jason Schreier mentioned that it had been in development alongside Arclight Rumble for “several years.”

Warcraft Arclight Rumble comes at a time when Activision Blizzard has a lot on its plate. The company is battling several lawsuits and some of its employees have unionized or are attempting to. Microsoft also just purchased the company this year. It remains to be seen if any of this will have an effect on the future of Warcraft Arclight Rumble.

Warcraft Arclight Rumble joins Diablo Immortal, which will be released in June for mobile gamers.
