Valorant Closed Beta Signup Date

The VALORANT beta was announced on March 30th at 1:00 PM EST. VALORANT closed will begin on April 7th, 2020 for EU and NA regions. More regions will come as Riot adds the server infrastructure.

The closed beta invites will likely be limited to a few thousand people worldwide, and slowly open up to more as they test the servers and balance of the game.

We can hopefully expect some full match playthroughs on YouTube and other social media platforms to see how the game flows from round to round.

VALORANT Twitch Drops

VALORANT beta invites will be randomly given out via Twitch Drops on April 3rd, and from April 7th onwards. This means if you watch an eligible streamer during these time frames, you’ll have a chance at getting a beta invite through a random Twitch drop.

Here’s a confirmation from one of Riot’s Game Directors, Ziegler, in regards to Twitch drop dates.

The first thing you’ll want to do is create a Riot account. Then, you’ll want to make sure to link up your Twitch account with Riot, which you can find out how to do in our Linking Twitch and Riot Guide.
