You hit the up button on the directional pad and then the attack button to execute a fling slam. Your character grabs their opponent and throws them to the ground several times. Your character will sling them over their head a few times before releasing them and then performs one last strike before finishing the sequence.
There are some levels in the game that will have you perform a fling slam in order to move on. Aside from these challenges, the attack is a good way to rid of more difficult opponents quickly.
