Street Fighter 6 Announced by Capcom

Fans can expect more information about the game this summer

Last week a mysterious countdown timer from Capcom appeared online. Fans speculated what it could be for, and many thought that it would be about Resident Evil Village DLC or that Capcom would officially announce the Resident Evil 4 remake. The most common belief was that this announcement would be Street Fighter related since it would be happening after the end of the Capcom Pro Tour. This was correct, as the announcement ended up being Street Fighter 6.

The Street Fighter 6 announcement was accompanied by a trailer that featured Ryu and Luke. It seems that the game is going for a realistic art style this time around. There wasn’t any gameplay shown, but Capcom has said that more information will be available this summer. This year marks the 35th Anniversary of the Street Fighter series.

Its reputation improved once more updates and the Arcade and Champion editions were released.
