Shredder Joins Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl as a Playable Character

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl surprised gamers when it was announced as no one was expecting a Smash-Bros clone with Nickelodeon characters. The game features iconic characters such as Spongebob, Aang, Garfield, and the Ninja Turtles. The newest character to join the game will be the NInja Turtles nemesis Shredder.

Shredder and a New Stage Come to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

IGN revealed today that Shredder will be joining All-Star Brawl in an exclusive trailer. The character was revealed via a character leak back in the fall. In a video also released by IGN, Hans Stein, environment and lighting artist, detailed how Shredder works in-game. He describes Shredder as “a combo-centered character who excels at rushing down his opponents with a flurry of fast attacks.”Shredder can also buff his attacks to do more damage to opponents.

In addition to Shredder, the game will be adding a brand-new stage: Slime Time. The stage is based on the popular Nickelodeon game show Double Dare. It’s been slightly redesigned as it now features floating platforms. Stein describes the stage as “a medium stage with no hazards and three platforms.”

Both Shredder and the Slime Time Stage are now available in all versions of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
