Shadow and Shiny Wooper variants are now catchable in Pokemon GO!

Many players have been wondering when the shiny variant of Wooper would make its way into Pokemon GO. It looks like today’s the day, and tons of Wooper have started spawning all around the game. Additionally, we got some information about a new Wooper Watch event, which explains more Wooper have mysteriously started showing up.

Pokemon GO Wooper Event

The Wooper Watch event recently started for players around the world in Pokemon GO. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect during this event, which expires in 24 hours:

  • More Wooper are appearing in the wild
  • Increased Incense Effectiveness
  • 2x Catch Stardust
  • Team GO Rocket balloons appearing more often
  • Team GO Rocket appearing more often at PokeStops
  • Shadow Pokemon can forget the Charged Attack Frustration with a TM

In other news, Regirock, Registeel, and Regice will be making a comeback to raids during different weekends this December. Starting on December 12 through December 27, you can find each of them in five-star raids during the weekends.

Here’s the schedule for the Regis, courtesy of Pokemon GO’s site:

  • Regirock will be appearing in raids from Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
  • Registeel will be appearing in raids from Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 20, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
  • Regice will be appearing in raids from Saturday, December 26, 2020, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
