Saber Interactive Breaks Down the Characters of Evil Dead: The Game

Asymmetrical multiplayer games are very popular nowadays. Games like Dead by Daylight and Back 4 Blood have proven to be very successful in gaining an audience. The Horror movie genre seems to be attracted to this genre of games, which is why it’s no surprise that Evil Dead: The Game was announced last year. Today, developer Saber Interactive did a breakdown of the characters featured in the game.

All Playable Characters in Evil Dead: The Game

Saber Interactive’s Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits revealed information about the characters within Evil Dead: The Game in a post on the PlayStation Blog. As expected, players will be able to play as Ash Williams, the protagonist of the Evil Dead films. There will be several playable versions of Ash including his younger self and the older version of him from later films and the TV show Ash vs Evil Dead.

Speaking of the TV show, the show’s supporting characters Kelly Maxwell and Pablo Simon Bolivar will also be playable in-game. Actors from the original Evil Dead film will be voicing their characters. These actors include Bruce Campbell, Ellen Sandweiss, and Richard DeManincor. 

The series’ signature enemies have always been the Deadites. These undead creatures are also enemies within the game. The team at Saber Interactive went the extra mile when creating them as some Deadites in-game use the same designs from the movies and the TV show.

Fans of Evil Dead can get their hands on this game when it launches on May 13, 2022.
