The latest Roblox Islands Factory Update is now live in the popular island-building experience. This time around, players will be able to build factories on their islands! The updates keep on coming, and the developers are making sure to keep growing this game one update at a time.
We had little information about what to expect in this upcoming patch, but it looks like players will finally be able to build a full oil production pipeline! Aside from the Workbench Tier 4 addition, players can look for Oil Deposits around the map. Oil deposits only spawn when you have the newest Workbench.
Use your Pumpjack to extract oil from the ground, and then transfer it to an Oil Refinery using pipes to convert it into petroleum. Store the fuel in the Oil and Petroleum tanks so your excess doesn’t go to waste. Convert the petroleum into solid fuel and use it in any machine. Use production factories like the Barrel Filler and Extractor to automate fuel production more easily. Speak with Doug, the Oil Baron, for more goodies like extra Oil Deposits!
The update also adds a Fruit Tree Shaker that you can use to harvest Fruit Trees, a Crate Packer used to pack your goods into crates to sell for more money, and a sapling planet to grow more trees. Lastly, there are now tier 2 conveyor belts that you can use for double the transport speed!

- Oil Deposits which spawn randomly when you have a Workbench Tier 4

- Oil & Petroleum Tanks, used to store fuels
- Pipe Junction, used to split one pipe connection in to two
- Fuel Petrifier, used to convert petroleum in to a solid fuel form which can be used with any machine!
- Fuel barrel filler & fuel barrel extractor, used to easily transport & sell your fuels!
- Doug the Oil Baron, speak with him to purchase a deed for more oil deposits!
- Automated Trough, keep your troughs stocked via conveyor belt!
- Fruit Tree Shaker, used to harvest fruits from your fruit trees
- Crate Packer Tier 2, used to pack your farm produce in to larger crates which can be sold for more
- Sapling Planter, used to automatically plant saplings
- Tier 2 Conveyors, used to transport your items at double the speed of old conveyors!
- Fixed issue with Davey visting your island multiple times, for real this time
