Making deliveries in Death Stranding is not always smooth sailing. Occasionally, you will find your cargo slipping off your back and getting damaged along the way. Delivering damaged goods can hurt your rating and you probably don’t want that. Luckily, there is a way you can avoid this by repairing damaged cargo and packages prior to delivery.

Repairing Damaged Cargo in Death Stranding

Most of your deliveries will take damage at one point or another. To repairs your packages and cargo, you need to get some repair spray. Open up your inventory and select the “Package” option, and then select “Offload” to put it down on the ground. Now, press the right D-Pad to open up the item menu and select “Container Repair Spray” and equip it. Hold L2 to aim and R2 to spray it on your damaged cargo.

You can pick up some repair spray at the distribution centers throughout the game, so make sure to stock up whenever you come across them because they will certainly come in handy.

If you happen to find a Timefall Shelter you can also use this to repair damaged cargo. While inside, your damaged items will be affected by container repair spray. These shelters are used to protect you from Timefall rain.

Now you don’t have to worry about completing your deliveries with damaged cargo!
