Reddit Leaker Teases an Announcement About Metroid Prime

Learn about the latest Metroid Prime rumor

The Metroid series hasn’t had much activity in recent years outside of the release of Metroid Dread in 2021. The game received critical acclaim from fans and critics but people still wanted a little more, more specifically something related to the Metroid Prime games. Metroid Prime 4 was officially announced at E3 2017 and has still not been released or talked about much by Nintendo. An HD remaster collection of the first three Metroid Prime Games has also been rumored for years now. There may be an announcement soon regarding one of these projects according to a cryptic message from a verified Reddit leaker.

Reddit Leaker Teases an Announcement About Metroid Prime

In a post today on the popular subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, subreddit mod Spheromancer revealed that he had been sent a private message. This message was sent by Fun_Way_6592, a leaker who had revealed things in the past such as the title of the upcoming Legend of Zelda game and Splatoon 3 through cryptic messages. Spheromancer said that Fun_Way_6592 had done the same again only this time it was regarding Metroid Prime. The message reads, “Do you think everyone is primed and ready?” This is all he sent Spheromancer and he never responds to any messages he receives.

The message is very vague so of course it could mean anything related to Metroid Prime. It could be the long-rumored remaster of the first three games or something regarding the upcoming fourth game. Whatever the announcement turns out to be, it will likely be something major based on Fun_Way_6592’s past messages.
