How to get Pancham

How to Get Pancham in Pokémon GO

I think we all knew at least one kid like Pancham when we were younger (if we weren’t that kid ourselves). Capricious, energetic, tries to look more important than they actually are. I guess with a personality like that, it is susceptible to the influences that lead to its evolution into Pangoro, but we’re not talking about that right now. Right now, we’re talking about how to get Pancham in Pokémon GO.

Alongside several other new additions to the PokéDex, the Luminous Legends X event has brought Pancham and its evolution, Pangoro, to Pokémon GO. Its addition to the game was a reward for the playerbase catching over 500 million Fairy-type Pokémon alongside shiny Galarian Ponyta. Thankfully, unlike shiny Galarian Ponyta, it’s much easier to find a Pancham, at least for the moment.

How to Get Pancham in Pokémon GO

For the remaining duration of the Luminous Legends X event, which will be replaced with Luminous Legends Y on May 18, Pancham can be fought and captured in 1-Star Raids. Since Pancham was only just introduced, you won’t find it wandering around in the wild just yet, nor is its shiny variation available. They gotta keep some things in reserve to keep this game interesting, you know. Don’t worry, though, Pancham isn’t that tough to beat, especially compared to Pangoro; any good Fairy, Flying, or Psychic-type Pokémon will do the job just fine.

Once Luminous Legends X ends and is replaced with Luminous Legends Y, it’ll be a little harder to find a Pancham, but not impossible. Instead of heading up 1-Star Raids, Pancham will start appearing in Strange Eggs. Strange Eggs are dropped when you defeat one of the three Team Rocket admins: Sierra, Arlo, or Cliff. You can also get them by defeating Giovanni. However, Pancham will only appear in Strange Eggs until May 24th. Also, there are other Pokémon that can hatch from Strange Eggs, so you might need to beat up Team Rocket a few times before you get an egg with a Pancham in it.
