Playstation Announces Classic Games Catalog
PlayStation 2 games will be available in the form of remasters previously released for the PS4. These include games such as the Jak and Daxter series, Hot Shot Tennis, and Rogue Galaxy. Unfortunately due to hardware limitations, PlayStation 3 games will only be available via streaming. The games that will be available to stream include Infamous, Infamous 2, Infamous: Festival of Blood, Resistance 3, and Asura’s Wrath.
In addition to these classic games, the new PlayStation Plus will have timed trials for new games, a feature that hasn’t been offered since the service was only on the PlayStation 3. The purpose of these trials is to allow players to experience a game before purchasing it. These trials will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers using the Premium/Delux tiers. They will only be for PS4/PS5 games. Here is a list of the trials that will be available:
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Farming Simulator 22
- Tiny Tina’s Wonderland
- WWE 2K22
We will continue to update you with the latest information as Playstation rolls out its all-new Playstation Plus service.
