Become a Smuggler in No Man’s Sky’s Newest Update

Hello Games has released the Outlaws Update for No Man's Sky.

The redemption of No Man’s Sky is one of the best comeback stories in the video game industry. The game launched to an overwhelmingly negative reception from both fans and critics. Six years later and the game has become what people thought it should have been when it originally was released. The recently released Outlaws update seems intent on continuing the game’s stellar reputation.

Prepare to Live the Pirate’s Life

Hello Games has released a new update for No Man’s Sky called the “Outlaws Update.” The update adds several new features revolving around illegal activities the player can participate in. These activities include smuggling, working for pirates, and forging passports. Along with new activities, there are also new missions that unlock customization items once completed.

A new starship class has now been added to the game as well. The Solar Sail ship has many different procedurally generated versions that can be found in-game. Once one has been acquired, players can use it to test out the new changes to space combat. Now, each grade of ship has a different shield strength. The shields will also recharge at different rates.

Pirate ships will occasionally attack players when they fly near a planet’s atmosphere. They can also raid planetary structures. Should players defeat these pirates, they’ll receive a reward. There are so many new features in the Outlaw Update which can be found here. No Man’s Sky is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and will come to Nintendo Switch later this year.
