Nintendo regularly uses their Nintendo Direct live streams to showcase their upcoming games to the public. There are many games that the company currently has in development that are certainly due for their own Nintendo direct such as the Breath of the Wild sequel or a potential Mario Kart sequel. These two games and more may actually appear during this week’s recently announced Nintendo Direct.
The Direct Will be 40 Minutes of Switch Games
Nintendo took to Twitter to announce that the next Nintendo Direct will take place on Wednesday, February 9 at 2 p.m. PT on YouTube. It is set to be 40 minutes long and will feature Nintendo Switch Games that are being released in the first half of this year. There haven’t been any official announcements about which games exactly but there are a few likely candidates.
The upcoming sequel to Legend of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was first announced at a Nintendo Direct in 2019 and is supposed to be released sometime this year. Perhaps we’ll see it once again at tomorrow’s Direct livestream. There’s also a recent rumor regarding a potential Mario Kart sequel. Apparently, the game will be ambitious and experimental just like the previous Mario Kart games.
Other games that could potentially show up at tomorrow’s Direct include a new Fire Emblem, the Batman Arkham Collection, and maybe even Destiny 2. Make sure to tune in tomorrow at 2 p.m. PT to find out what games will be shown.
