Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an upcoming launch title for PlayStation 5. It’s the second game in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, following up to the original Marvel’s Spider-Man from 2018. The game releases on November 12 worldwide on PlayStation 4. It also releases on launch day for the PlayStation 5 in select regions and worldwide on November 19.

In terms of load times, this is a big step forward for Sony and consoles in general. We’re not sure where the video originates, but it has been circulating on YouTube, Reddit, and other websites throughout the weekend into today.

Sony previously unveiled that their PlayStation 5 has a built-in SSD capable of loading games and content up to 100 times faster than the PS4. Lead systems architect Mark Cerny says developers can load up to 2GB of data in 0.27 seconds, or 5.5GB per second on the PS5.

The new technology opens up more possibilities for game developers to create more massive worlds without segmenting them into sections for loading purposes.
