Every month PlayStation Plus members enjoy benefits such as exclusive discounts, online multiplayer, and free games. It seems that lately, the monthly PS Plus games have been leaked online before an official announcement from Sony themselves. This may have happened once again as the PlayStation Plus games for January 2022 have supposedly been leaked.
Another Month, Another Batch of Free Games
According to Dealabs, the next PlayStation Plus games will be Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic. All of these games have been released in the past year and a half so subscribers may be getting some fairly new titles next month. Person 5 Strikers actually launched in February this year. It’s a Dynasty Warrior-esque sequel to Persona 5.
Dirt 5 is a racing game which was a launch title for the PS5 last year. Deep Rock Galactic is a co-op game with crafting elements. The game was exclusive to Xbox and PC since its launch in March 2020, but if this leak is true, it will now be playable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. There may also be more titles announced for next month as well.
The current PlayStation Plus games for this month are Godfall Challenger Edition, Lego DC Super-Villains, Mortal Shell, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, The Persistence, and Until You Fall. These games will be available until the first Tuesday of January 2022.
