Gamers finally getting their hands on Atomic Heart and are in awe of the games graphics. From the world to character models, developers over at Mundfish clearly put a lot of work into making things look great. However, some players are having a bit of difficulty finding certain settings in game that were shown off. There has been a bit of discourse around these settings and if they will ever make their way back to the game. What’s more, the devs have addressed these issues and the answer they gave was a bit cautious. Let’s topple the robotic apocalypse and answer the question: is there ray tracing in Atomic Heart?

Before the game was released, there were many videos released by NVIDIA showing off the ray tracing effects in Atomic Heart. Further accentuating the visual and graphical design of the game. Leading many players to believe that the game would be releasing with ray tracing. When players finally got their hands on the game however, they were confused as to why they couldn’t find ray tracing in the settings. Sadly, the answer to our question might not be one that people like.

As of the games release, there is no ray tracing in Atomic Heart. Players on PC won’t be able to find the setting, as it has seemingly been removed before the games initial launch. Leaving players to speculate as to why it was removed so close to it’s release. Furthermore, many have assumed that ray tracing was not stable enough to warrant releasing the game with said feature. And only time will tell if Mundfish games decides to add it in a further patch or update.
