The next big looter shooter seems to be on its way with Nexon Company’s very beautiful sci-fi epic, The First Descendant. Using the Unreal Engine 5, the massive and immersive Destiny-like third-person shooter looks pristine and tantalizing, to say the least. With every newly presented MMO game of its like comes a slew of questions. The first major question to ask is playability. Is The First Decedent need to pay or play for free? What will this entail as well?
Free to Play?
What makes a game a looter shooter usually is its PvE mechanics. This intern does make the game technically free to play. The First Descendant is free to play, and most likely there will be a lot of play-to-win mechanics at all in some ways. Hopefully, it will not be as much play-to-win as other free-to-play games have been. There is still a lot of speculation and little early access but there are so many other games to base on the possible ways you will eventually have to pay in the game eventually.
What to Expect
Nexon has had a great deal of experience with massive free-to-play online games so you can also expect a lot from that if you’ve played one of their games prior. The game itself looks like a very beautiful Sci-fi epic in the vein of Destiny and even Final Fantasy. The early beta has given us a few aspects and features to look forward to.

You can go up to 4 co-op play in a team and there are many unique and diverse options of skills to build a unique playstyle for your character. More skills are unlocked as you play and achieve more goals and quests. Reactions so far seem to be good and promising, there is no release date yet and there is likely more to add to the game as it is further developed before release.
