How to Watch the Moonbreaker Lore Showcase and Start Time

The newly announced strategic turn based tabletop sim Moonbreaker blasts into orbit with a Lore Showcase happening today.

Opening Night Live at Gamescom gave us a glimpse at a new turn-based strategy game, Moonbreaker. The developers of Subnautica, Unknown Worlds, has partnered with acclaimed sci-fi fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson to write and develop a futuristic world surrounded by intricately detailed miniatures. The game strives to capture the enjoyment and excitement of strategic tabletop gaming, with the added benefit of never having to leave your desk. On the 23rd of September, the official Moonbreaker twitter released a post announcing a Lore showcase. This livestream will be helmed by the game director Charlie Cleveland and Brandon Sanderson. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the Moonbreaker Lore Showcase.

Fans of the newly announced game will be treated to a showcase of the lore and worldbuilding taking place in this game. There is no official runtime for the livestream, however people can expect an overview of how this world came about through the mind of Sanderson.

These types of games are a huge departure from Unknown Worlds’ usual aquatic environments. So far the game has been met with immediate praise and jubilated optimism, primarily thanks to the sneak peek at the in depth miniature painting system. This system demonstrates the use of professional looking painting software to customize and show off your artistry skills. The game has you put together a team of 10 normal units and 1 captain to face off against any and every opponent in turn-based strategic online or offline play. Moonbreaker is currently still in development and will release into early access starting September 29th, 2022.
