How to Unlock All Weapons and Demons in Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta 3 features 15 unlockable weapons to use. Not only do each of these weapons have its own unique movesets, abilities, and Demon Masquerade forms, but they also come with an associated Infernal Demon that you can summon up using Demon Slave, barring a few exceptions. Demons can be equipped independently of their associated weapons in the Demon menu, so even if you’re not using their associated weapons, you can still call them up whenever you want.

Colour My World and Madama Butterfly

Bayonetta’s default quartet of magical handguns, empowered by her primary Demon partner, Madama Butterfly. The good Madama unleashes high-speed punch and kick combos when summoned. These become available after finishing the game’s Prologue chapter.

G-Pillar and Gomorrah

A massive anti-tank rifle with a chunk of Gomorrah’s flesh welded to the top. It works great both in its intended purpose and as a gigantic club to crush stuff with! Gomorrah itself can be called up to crush crowds with its prodigious size. This weapon is given to you the first time you visit the Gates of Hell midway through Chapter 2.

Ignis Araneae Yo-Yo and Phantasmaranae

A quartet of giant yo-yos worn on the arms and legs that unleash the hellish flames of Phantasmarane with every swing. Phantasmarane can be summoned to swing its massive tail, scatter flames, and bombard foes with its exploding offspring. This weapon is passed to Bayonetta by her first multiversal counterpart at the end of Chapter 3.

Dead End Express and War Train Gouon

A wild hybrid of a steam engine and a chainsaw. Hold down your attack buttons to build up pressure and enhance their power. When summoning Gouon, you can map out a railway for it, setting up attacks in sequence. This weapon is left behind by another Bayonetta counterpart at the end of Chapter 6.

Simoon and Malphas

A pair of giant metal war fans that unleash blades of wind with every swing and stab. Summon Malphas to peck at enemies and blow them away with a flap of its wings. This weapon is bequeathed to Bayonetta alongside another at the end of Chapter 9.

Ribbit Libido-BZ55 and Baal

A microphone stand that transforms into a spear. Scream into the mic to both unleash powerful shockwaves and enhance your stats. Summon Baal to whip foes with her tongue, then perform her song to call down a torrent of poison rain. Given to you alongside Simoon at the end of Chapter 9.

Tartarus and Umbran Clock Tower

A pair of hefty stone slabs that crush enemies with their weight and unite to form a summoning gate. Call forth the Umbran Clock Tower to deploy all kinds of wicked weaponry from inside of it, including a functional suit of Umbran mech armor. Obtained after a bittersweet moment at the end of Chapter 11.

Abracadabra and Mictlantecuhtli

Abra the hat and Cadabra the cane conjure forth mystifying attacks, launching waves of electric bats and conjuring explosives out of thin air. Summon the brothers Mictlantecuhtli to pelt enemies with electrical attacks, then switch modes to scan for invisible foes. Unlocked after a spectacular show at the end of Chapter 12.

Cruel Altea and Labolas

A set of greaves and gauntlets that can be launched and manipulated from a distance, as well as freeze foes with icy breath. Summon Labolas to ravage enemies with its powerful claws and fangs. Unlocked after finishing the main story.

Handguns

A quartet of completely ordinary handguns used by Bayonetta during the game’s tutorial. No Wicked Weaves, no Demon Masquerade, no associated Demon. If that sounds appealing to you for some reason, they’re unlocked after finishing the main story.

Alruna and Alraune

A vicious plant-powered set of whips, returning from Bayonetta 2. Now you can summon Alraune, who’s feeling a little more cooperative, to blight foes with thorns and poison. Unlocked after finding all of the Umbran Tears of Blood in Chapter 3, then clearing the subsequent Phenomenal Remnant.

Cassiopea and Kraken

A harpoon gun modified to launch a gigantic, heavy anchor, can be used as both a bowgun and a… rough approximation of a whip. Unleash the Kraken to pressure and pummel enemies with its many tentacles. Unlocked after clearing Chapter 14’s Phenomenal Remnant. It’s available after finishing the game, as there are no Umbran Tears of Blood in that Chapter.

Rodin and Devil Rodin

A set of bangles imbued with Rodin’s power, allowing them to shapeshift into a myriad of different weapons on the fly. Call up Rodin himself in his full demon form to lay the smackdown on anyone who looks at you funny. To unlock this weapon, you’ll need to beat the main story to unlock the Platinum Ticket, purchase it for 999,999 Seeds, then defeat Rodin in the ensuing boss fight. If you beat him, you get the weapon for free, but if you lose to him 100 times, he’ll add it to his sale stock instead for a 9,999,999 Seed price tag.

Scarborough Fair and Love is Blue

Bayonetta’s classic gun quartets used in her first and second adventures, respectively. Can’t use Demon Masquerade, but preserve Bayonetta’s classic moveset, including Wicked Weaves and Beast Within. Scarborough Fair is unlocked by having a Bayonetta save file on your Switch, while Love is Blue is unlocked with a Bayonetta 2 save file.

The sheer number of weapons in Bayonetta 3 ensures that, by the game’s end, you’re guaranteed to find at least a couple that jive with your playstyle. Try them all out and find what works for you!
